SeaScape Property Management recently received the Edward M. Rush Sr. Memorial Award from the Better Business Bureau for Outstanding Family Business.
Family values are deeply rooted in the SeaScape Property Management business, which has operated since the start of its original gatehouse operation in The Plantations community in Lewes in 2002 with Barry Nichols at the helm.
Patty Nichols, Barry’s wife, has looked after the six grandchildren from the first day her son Doug Nichols started working for the company.
Originally, when the Nichols children were growing up, they wanted the business to continue to operate as a family. With this dream in mind, three generations of Nichols currently work for SeaScape Property Management.
SeaScape currently has over 30 employees and remains true to the original family values that built the company. SeaScape employees always know that family comes first, and the close-knit group of employees has now become a full-fledged family – standing side by side through life’s ups and downs – whether during graduation celebrations or when needed.
It is with these values that SeaScape strives every day to respond positively to the needs of the communities in the region.
“We are grateful to the Rush family for recognizing our family’s legacy in the Delaware business community. We treat our customers like we treat family, allowing Seascape to become a trusted part of every community,” said Chris Nichols.
SeaScape Property Management is a Sussex based company which emphasizes preventative and proactive maintenance as the basis of association management.
