The deadline for the first installment of Maui County property tax payments for the 2021-2022 fiscal year is today, Monday, August 23, 2021.
Tax invoices were mailed to all owners or agents handling the accounts. Homeowners who have not received a property tax bill should immediately contact the Maui County Department of Finance. Failure to receive a tax bill will not prevent the imposition of penalties and / or interest charges due to late payments.
Real estate taxpayers who do not pay the first installment due in full by August 23, 2021 will be assessed a 10% penalty and 1% interest on the unpaid balance, assessed monthly, until paid. .
